In Oceanside, the dazzling results of its most creative residents are evident throughout the region, in galleries, shops, parks, and exhibits. Paintings, prints, sculpture, pottery, woodwork, jewellery, and glass art — you’ll find a wonderful array of arts and crafts. Oceanside galleries and studios not to miss include the Old School House Arts Centre in Qualicum Beach and the Station Gallery and the Oceanside Arts Gallery in Parksville.
Throughout Central Island, watch for blue "Artisan" signs posted along the highway indicating a nearby studio that’s open to the public. As well, at the local Info Centres, you can pick up a brochure that lists Oceanside’s galleries, the hours they are open to the public, and a map showing locations.
