Excellent windsurfing is available in Cowichan, especially west of the town of Lake Cowichan at Nitinat Lake, a saltwater, tidal lake that has received international acclaim from windsurfers. Lake Cowichan and Maple Bay are two more favourite windsurfing locations. |
