What could be better than enjoying a glass of wine or cider at the very place where the fruit was grown? Winery and cidery visits are a huge attraction in Cowichan and an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Some properties feature concerts and picnics in the vineyards on summer weekends. All of Cowichan’s vineyards and the cidery have shops and tasting rooms and some offer tours. In September, the region hosts a wine festival that includes a variety of events.
