Surrounded by the lush forests and wilderness of the Nimpkish Valley, Woss is a forestry town that boasts the longest running logging railway in North America. The No. 113, a now-retired, 80-year-old steam train, will impress train buffs and photographers. Interesting forestry tours can be arranged. Shoen Lake Provincial Park, Anutz Lake, and Nimpkish Lake are excellent places to hike, fish, paddle, mountain bike, windsurf, and boat. Mount Cain is the place to be on winter weekends for skiing and snowboarding. |
