BC Ferries also offers the Discovery Coast Passage, a trip of up to two nights from Port Hardy to Bella Coola, a community on the northern coast of the province. Reservations are required on both voyages and vehicles are accommodated on the ferries. Accommodation in Port Hardy should also be arranged in advance; rooms book quickly when ferry sailings are scheduled.
